The UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) provides a secure way to download your Aadhaar card online through the MyAadhaar portal. This service is free, quick, and available 24/7.

Via the UIDAI (MyAadhaar) Portal

  • Visit the official website: Click Here
  • Click on the ‘Download Aadhaar‘ link.
  • Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Number, 16-digit Virtual ID (VID) Number, or 28-digit Enrolment ID (EID) Number on the new page.
  • If you have an Aadhaar number, enter it; otherwise, use the EID or VID . see EID Note
  • Click on the ‘Send OTP‘ button and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Click on the ‘Verify and Download‘ button.
  • Your Aadhaar card will be downloaded to your device.
  • If your mobile number is not linked to your Aadhaar, you need to visit the nearest Aadhaar service center to update it.

Note – EID (Enrollment ID) is a 28-digit number given during the application process to track its status, while the UID (Unique Identification Number), or Aadhaar number, is a 12-digit number issued after approval, serving as proof of identity and address.

Note: If you have forgotten your Aadhaar number or enrolment ID, use the ‘Retrieve EID/Aadhaar number‘ option by entering your name, mobile number, or email, and retrieve it using the OTP.

  • Authenticate using OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
